Grass Masterclass at Howard Nurseries – Friday 25th September 2026

Grasses and their allies are a huge group of plants, offering a range of unique qualities that make them such versatile, practical, and yet easy care and beautiful additions to our gardens and designed spaces. Renowned for his expertise on grasses and their use in our designed spaces, join Neil Lucas for a morning lecture and walk around parts of the renowned Howard nursery (from 9.30am to 1pm), as he imparts something of his knowledge and experience gained during his 30 years of living and working at Knoll. Neil will show how grasses are an essential part of the naturalistic and wildlife friendly ethos and approach to garden making, which has made Knoll the respected garden that it is today. Please note this class will entail a walk to the stock fields as well as the container unit, so please have suitable clothing and footwear.
