INSTRUCTIONS 1. Place the pie gauge as flat as possible on the part with the pie section side down. Make sure it is in the area to be magnetized. 2. Apply the magnetic current while applying the magnetic particles using the continuous method. 3. If using dry particles, lightly blow off the excess while the magnetic current is still on. 4. Artificial indications will appear on the pie gauge in the same direction as the natural defects.
