Protomotive 964 Stage 1 Turbosystem What is a Protomotive 964 Stage 1 Turbosystem? It’s a bolt-on turbo conversion utilizing the oem heat exchangers and muffler. Combine the Stage 1 with engine builds, intercoolers and other upgrades for even more fun! What are the results? Post install a stock 3.6 C2/C4 with the Protomotive 964 Stage 1 Turbosystem will make nearly 400hp at the crank. This is with the standard bolt-on system, at 0.5 bar (approx. 7psi), non intercooled That’s over a 100hp increase is very difficult and costly to get with naturally aspirated upgrades. (results from testing at Protomotive and other various sources.  Results not guaranteed due to condition of original engine). Is a wing required? The standard bolt-on non intercooled system does not require a wing. Fuel requirement: Better / higher octane is always better. Minimum octane: 91. Preferred octane:   92 – 93 or higher What exhausts will this work with? You can use this system with your oem rear and side muffler You can also use any aftermarket exhaust Maybe even a straight-pipe for some really fun turbo whistling sounds Can this system be upgraded?
