MacroBID (Nitrofurantoin) 100mg Prolonged-release Capsules

Description MacroBID (Nitrofurantoin) is an antibiotic used to treat and prevent infections of the bladder, kidney and other parts of the urinary tract. MacroBID is a prolonged release capsule, which should be taken at meal times with food or milk. Like all antibiotics, it is vital that the full 3 day course is completed, to prevent antibiotic resistance. This medication is not recommended for diabetics, and must be avoided if you are pregnant or breast feeding. While taking MacroBID, your urine may become dark yellow or brown. This is quite normal and not a reason to stop taking the medicine.
